    Magic & Mysteriosophy

Magic shows  - Not silly clothes or noises !

Steve Drury is an experienced, professional magician, not a children’s entertainer: he doesn't wear stripy suits or make silly noises for children’s entertainment! However he has gained a reputation for performing very popular shows for children of all ages too.

He will tailor each performance according to audience age/mix and understanding to ensure each show is unique for every event and present a mix of both visual, classic and unusual magic - with his own twist

    Parties, Events & Weddings

Magic for parties, events & weddings

Steve Drury is equally at home on a stage in front of hundreds of strangers as he is performing at small private gatherings. His magic entertainment will always be audience and age appropriate.

Typically at weddings Steve will be booked to perform children's magic shows during the speeches, then mix and mingle, close-up magic at tables, or a stand-up show for all.

Steve is happy either providing an age appropriate show or set of activities where he will control and entertain all the pupils , or he can work with smaller groups or even accompanied individuals.

Also whilst Steve has a standard workshop structure, the message or type of activity presented is your choice and Steve will do his best to adapt to any initiative, theme or idea.

  • What a success! Wow! Thank you so much for the most fantastic shows – it was an amazing experience – for both the young and old alike! We have had such great feedback, and everyone has said they were just completely mesmerised by your performance!

We very much hope we will have the opportunity of staging another event next year and will of course be in contact with you! Thank you so much once again for making our fundraising event such a memorable one. With our kindest and most grateful regards

The show was brilliant. Francesca and her friends were all talking about it at school today - in my daughters words - "the mind reading freaked some people out!". Certainly the adults were amazed! I am still asking myself "how did he do that?" The paper spoon bending and the "hole moving" stand out - how??! Can't thank you enough for keeping a bunch of wild 10 year olds entertained for an hour - just wish we had booked you for the second hour too!! Shall keep you in mind when we are planning a party for Christopher. Thanks again.

Steve came to our Judo Summer Camp, he provided fantastic entertainment for all - children and adults. His whole performance was professional and we would recommend him to anyone for any event. Thanks Steve.

      Deb Smith. Bradfield. Essex

From our first contact with Steve he was professional and approachable. We booked him for my sons’s 8th birthday and had piece of mind that a magical show would be delivered. Steve gave us a great show with terrific, intelligent magic and good humour, which we all liked. Steve interacted fantastically with the kids and engaged them in the show. We warmly recommend Steve.

Steve has entertained children and adults alike at both our 2008 and 2009 annual Fetes in Horringer, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. He has proven a great attraction, providing a lot of involving fun and entertainment for all. We look forward to seeing Steve again.

Jonathan Hart. Horringer Fete Committee. Suffolk

Steve, I just wanted to share some feedback from my wedding ....The guests were absolutely amazed. How did you know the names of pets, where someone lived and tell people completely anonymous information about themselves. They all think I primed you beforehand!. You certainly kept all the adults and children entertained and apparently many children have done nothing but talk about it ever since! Thanks so much for helping make our wedding day memorable. Kind Regards, Gaye

                Gaye Groves. Higham Kent

Many thanks for your wonderful performance for our party over the weekend. Everyone was captivated with the magic, and the children still are trying to figure out just how you managed the amazing tricks! The grande finale of cutting my husband in half was a huge success, and I was pleased to get him back in one piece!! I also have to thank you for your professionalism. It was very helpful to talk through our ideas for the party with you in advance, and your early arrival on the day ensured that everything went to plan. Many thanks for joining us for our special day, and we had an excellent time because of you

                Jane Battersea. London

Thank you for a great performance on our wedding day....the kids and adults loved you....

We have had some great feedback - We were very impressed... !!!

                  Jayne & Stu. Whitham. Essex

To get the attention of a child is one thing, to keep it is something completely different but to truly captivate and inspire a group of children is magical. To say the party was fantastic and the kids are truly inspired, would be an understatement, many thanks Steve and look forward to the next time

                    Jonathan. Hingham. Norfolk

Dear Steve, What can I say! All of the children had a really truly fantastic time watching your magic. They are still talking about it now so it has definitely made an impression! The rainbow teapot seems to have stumped them all and they are still giving me various ideas of how you made the water into rainbow colours. They loved your magical "silks" and how they appeared and disappeared before their eyes!. Thanks again for helping to make Caitlin’s day special (and sawing my husband in half !). Kind regards Ann.

                      Ann. Onehouse. Suffolk

I just wanted to drop you a line to thank you for Charlie May’s birthday (as well as putting up with interfering mums and flying gazebo’s) I didn’t expect your magic to appeal so much to the adults too and them also standing watching ! The most important thing was that Charlie May was extremely happy, when I eventually got her into bed she said her favourite magic was the appearing butterflies (which I sadly missed!) I also should let you know that one of the mum’s has commented that her child has not stopped talking about you - I think the mother is tired of hearing about you - in the nicest possible way !!Thank you Steve.

                        Laura. Colchester.

Hi Steve,I just wanted to drop you a brief mail to let you know how much Saskia really enjoyed the show . It was interesting that it appealed to both the children and the adults, and Saskia and her friends said they enjoyed the more unusual magic ... It certainly engaged them and got them all thinking! Feel free to adapt the comments for your use and best of luck!
